WOPI and NGA joined the world in celebrating World Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, 2025. Supported by the Contribute Foundation

During an interactive seminar facilitated by Girls Connect, the students of New Generation Academy learned valuable information about menstrual hygiene, including the importance of discussing it openly and not skipping school during their periods. The children were also taught how to make reusable sanitary pads.

Raising awareness shouldn't be limited to just one day a year; it's a topic that should be discussed every day. Therefore, we will continue to mentor our girls on this important issue.
