78 WOPI children received school materials donation

WOPI beneficiaries in Sierra Leone started the academic school year 2022/2023 in the way we expected and anticipated with 78 WOPI children - 40 boys and 38 girls , receiving school materials such as bags, books, geometry set, uniforms and other necessities in Freetown and Makeni.

WOPI has put in place essential needs especially rice and provisions  for the kid at the orphanage center as the Nation goes into a lockdown. Sierra Leone has reported 4 for confirmed cases of  Covid-19 in the country and the government has declared a three day lockdown. everybody with the exception of medics, security officers and other essential  staff must stay home.

At Thanksgiving, we show gratitude for the great people and things we have in our lives. The women of potential were no different on Saturday the 26th of October 2019. The CEO of the organisation Mrs Florence Sesay Schopman talked about the importance of giving thanks , the journey that the organisation has been on highlighted one of its vision/mission statement “A vision to support the under privilege women, girls, children and orphans” .
